Day One of the opening circuit of the 2024 Nile Special 7s Series in Entebbe delivered shocking results in the pool phase.
This set up mouthwatering pairings in the Cup Quarterfinals.
Series defending champions Pirates and Entebbe 7s defending champions Heathens are in the same bracket. They will face Buffaloes and Mongers respectively.
On the other side of the bracket, Rhinos will face Hippos and KOBs will take on Walukuba.
Men’s Cup Quarterfinals Fixtures:
- QF 1: Rhinos vs Hippos
- QF 2: KOBs vs Walukuba
- QF 3: Buffaloes vs Pirates
- QF 2: Heathens vs Mongers
Impis, Elgon Wolves, Rams, and Warriors are the core teams who dropped out of the main Cup. They will play for a highest-possible ninth-place in the Challenge Cup.
Men’s Challenge Cup QFs Fixtures:
- QF 1: Impis vs Eagles
- QF 2: Kyambogo vs Jaguars
- QF 3: Elgon Wolves vs Kisubi Pacers
- QF 4: Rams vs Warriors
The women’s competition still has one more round in the pool phase left to play. From there, they will jump straight into the semifinals.
