Quarterfinal Results:

  • Amus College School 5-0 Sacred Hearts SS – Gulu
  • Uganda Martyrs High School Vs Kawempe Muslim Secondary School (11:00 AM)
  • Rines Secondary School Vs Sheema Girls School (2:00 PM)
  • Boni Concil Girls Vocational Vs St Noa Girls Secondary School (4:00 PM)

Amus College School became the first team to qualify to the semi-finals of the 2024 Fresh Dairy Girls football 2024 championship.

This followed a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Sacred Hearts Secondary School Gulu at the Standard High School playground, Ndejje campus on Wednesday, 19th June 2024.

Shayine Opisa notched a hat-trick with Edina Wanda and Dorren Wandera adding a goal apiece.

As early as the third minute, it was evident that Amus College would have a field day at office when Opisa scored.

On the half hour mark, Opisa scored the second goal before completing the hat-trick five minutes later as they took a 3-0 lead by the break.

Wanda made it four as the second half returned before Wandera’s icing on the already baked cake.

Other matches:

The second quarter final will be between Uganda Martyrs High School against Kawempe Muslim Secondary School.

By press time, the contest was goal-less at the mandatory half time mark.

At 2:00 PM, the contest will be between Rines Secondary School and Sheema Girls School before the final duel between Boni Concil Girls Vocational and St Noa Girls Secondary School at 4:00 PM.

The successful four schools will lock-horns in the semi-finals the subsequent day and the final on 21st June 2024.

Four schools will represent Uganda at the forthcoming 2024 FEASSSA Games to be co-hosted by Amus College and Bukedea Comprehensive.

Defending champions Kawempe Muslim SS are already guaranteed of a slot in the 2024 FEASSSA Games alongside the hosts Amus College and Bukedea Comprehensive.
