Wanderers picked up maximum points against Patidar at the Lugogo Cricket Oval to take control of Group B of the UGT20 League.

The wins guaranteed Wanderers a place in the knockouts as they chase a trophy this season. Sulemain Sharif continued his great form with the bat scoring 40 and 51 in both games as Wanderers dominated both games.

Patidar slipped down to second place and will be hoping Tornado cannot win against Wanderers so that they qualify as the other team from Group B.

At the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe, Ceylon Lions put ACC to the sword. Hamu Kayondo (91 not out) and Charles Mushemeza (91 not out) tore the ACC bowlers to shreds in the morning game to pick up a big win. The afternoon game was low scoring but Ceylon Lions dropped just three wickets to claim the win that consolidated their top spot in Group C.

JACC and Ismaili Community shared the spoils in Jinja. JACC picked up the win in the morning with Ronald Puwata (46) and Edwin Nuwagaba (36) scoring the runs for the team to give the hosts their fourth win of the season. In the afternoon, the travellers nicked a game with a comprehensive seven-wicket win. However, the win was not enough for them to gain more places in Group C.

Nyakasura secured the top spot in Group D with maximum points against Mukono Warriors. The early morning game was awarded to Nyakasura after Mukono Warriors used a player not on the registered team list. In the afternoon Nyakasura secured the result that gave them the top spot in the group, they are yet to drop a game in this campaign.
