SC Villa finally earned a victory under Morley Byekwaso with a 2-0 win over Maroons in the Fufa Super 8 rankings clash at Lugogo on Saturday.

Francis Onekalit and Patrick Kakande scored the goals in the first half that gave the Jogoos a deserved win and ensured they finished 7^th in the competition.

Onekalit put the Jogoos early into the lead getting at the end of Najib Yiga cross before Kakande put the icing on the cake with the second six minutes before the break.

Maroons who handed debuts to ex-Villa forwards Ambrose Kiirya and Bashir Mutanda end the pre-season tournament as the 8^th placed team with no victory in all matches played.

KCCA and NEC will fight for 5^th position later on the day while the final and third placed match will take place on Sunday with holders BUL taking on Vipers in the former while Fufa Select team will play Kitara in the latter.
