Twenty-five (25) finest women are set to line up for the 10,000m women final at Stade De France in Paris city on Friday evening.
Uganda will be represented by the duo of Sarah Chelangat and Annet Chemengich Chelangat.

Sarah Chelangat’s personal best in this race is 30:24.04 whilst Annet Chemengich’s personal best time in the same distance is 34:00.40.
Coming to this final, Ethiopia’s Gudaf Tsegay has the best seasonal time of 29:05.92.
She is closely followed by Kenya’s Lillian Kasait Rengeruk (29:26.89) and Margaret Chelimo Kipkemboi (29:27.59).
Another Ethiopian duo of Fotyen Tesfay (29:47.71) and Tsigie Gebreselama (29:48.34) follow suit.
The race will take place at Stade De France at 21:57 hours (East African Time). This will be the second last event of the day before the men’s 400M hurdles final.
