‘God Ye Buddy’ – the first single off Swangz Avenue’s much-anticipated #SwangzAllStarAlbum has been released with exciting visuals.
The song is a powerful gospel track that brings together an incredible lineup of some of Uganda’s top artists including Levixone, Azawi, Vinka, Elijah Kitaka, Zafaran, and Winnie Nwagi.
Produced by Bangar Boi and mixed by Steve Keys, God Ye Buddy is a celebration of faith, friendship, and the ever-present love of God.
The artists beautifully come together to express how God is not just their guide, but their best friend who is always there for them in every aspect of life.
The message of hope and gratitude resonates throughout the song, which is already striking a chord with audiences.
The music video directed by Marvin Musoke, was shot at the Munyonyo Martyrs Sheine Church to visualise the spiritual and uplifting atmosphere that the song demands.
What you cannot miss are the white attires symbolising holiness and purity. It further emphasises the song’s message – an aura of grace and devotion.
The #SwangzAllStarAlbum that is set to drop later this month has been in the works as part of the Swangz Creative Camp in Zanzibar. It features a diverse collection of East African talent.
Swangz also reveals that there will be an exclusive album listening event, as well as a release party, which will be open to the public.
