Ragga Dee, real name Daniel Kazibwe, has decided to shift the date for his concert a day further to 25th January 2025.
While at the weekly UNMF Jam Session on Tuesday, Ragga Dee revealed that a year ago, he picked 24th January 2025 for his concert.
He also booked the venue, Serena Hotel, early enough to avoid any conflict about the date and venue with other artists.
He was, however, shocked a few days ago when other artists including King Saha announced that they would be holding their concerts on the same date.
He believes the trend of artists conflicting over concert dates is growing and it is a vice that could negatively impact the industry.
He has hence decided to select the next date (25th January 2025) for his concert and vows to deal with whoever messes up with that date going forward.
A year ago, I booked Serena Hotel for the 24th of January 2025 for my concert. I was surprised when other artists chose the same date for their concerts. So I decided to change my date to 25th January.
This trend is very wrong because our fans are the same and we are really frustrating them. I let 24th January for Saha because if I don’t show an example, other people will still do the same.
