Ziza Bafana slams Uganda National Musicians Federation for failing artists

Dancehall singer Ziza Bafana, born Richard Kasendwa, has strongly criticized the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) for failing artists under its umbrella.

Speaking to journalists, the renowned dancehall singer stressed that the recent visit to the State House in Entebbe did not yield any fruits for the music industry despite a few individuals earning big.

He applauded Bobi Wine for the earlier remarks he made about the federation spending extravagantly at Hotel A’lure in Mutundwe.

Ziza Bafana explained that it would sound better if the Shs5 Billion that had been allocated to artists is used to establish there own home and stop renting the hotel.

He also mentioned that the Sacco money that had been promised to them is opposite of what is happening currently.

He says that for an artist to get money to run projects they have to first stake their property which wasn’t the case in the first place.
