Peter Okoye breaks silence on Psquare feud, addresses brother’s claims

The ongoing feud between the Okoye twins, Peter and Paul, who were once the powerhouse behind Africa’s iconic music group Psquare, has taken another turn.

Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, has broken his silence and addressed his brother Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, in a heartfelt open letter.

In a lengthy message posted on social media, Peter Okoye made it clear that he has no intention of competing with anyone, including his twin brother.

This statement comes in response to Paul’s recent claims that he was the primary creative force behind Psquare, having written the majority of their hit songs.

Peter expressed his disappointment in Paul’s efforts to discredit his contributions to the group. He specifically addressed Paul’s claim that their song “Ejeajo,” which Peter wrote, was a failure.

Paul allegedly used the song’s YouTube views as evidence to undermine Peter’s work.

Peter Okoye went on to list several successful songs he had written during their time as Psquare, including “Get-Squared,” “Bizzy Body,” “Personally,” “Roll It,” and “Temptation.”

He emphasized that while neither he nor Paul were the most talented artists in the world, they were blessed with talent by God and given multiple chances to succeed, even after their initial breakup.

Peter expressed his frustration with Paul’s decision to turn what was once Africa’s most awarded and decorated music group into a “laughingstock.”

He reminded his brother that their success was not solely due to individual efforts but was a result of their combined talents and hard work.
