Northern Uganda Endorses Calvin Echodu!! A Bold Vote for Visionary Leadership in Eastern Uganda

In a strong display of unity and forward-thinking politics, delegates from Lira City East, Lira City West, Kwania District, and Lira District have declared their support for Hon. Calvin Echodu’s bid for NRM Vice Chairperson – Eastern Uganda.
Gathering this Saturday afternoon, the delegates from Northern Uganda delivered a resounding endorsement, throwing their weight behind Echodu’s candidacy for a seat on the NRM Central Executive Committee (CEC)—the party’s highest decision-making body.
Though hailing from a different region, the Lango sub-region delegates made it clear: this endorsement is not about geography, it’s about leadership that inspires confidence across borders.
“Mr. Echodu is a leader who doesn’t just speak—he listens, engages, and gets things done,” said a delegate from Kwania District. “He represents the kind of leadership this party and this country need—accessible, inclusive, and focused on real progress.”
Delegates praised Echodu’s consistent record of empowering youth, supporting women-led initiatives, and mobilizing communities around development. His leadership, they said, is marked by humility, service, and a results-driven approach that resonates across Uganda.
By endorsing Echodu, Northern Uganda has sent a powerful message: NRM’s future lies in leaders who prioritize unity and competence over regionalism.
“This endorsement reflects a shift toward issue-based leadership,” said a representative from Lira City West. “We are standing with a leader whose values align with the needs of the people—not just in Eastern Uganda, but nationwide.”
As internal elections approach, the support from Northern Uganda gives Calvin Echodu’s campaign a significant boost, positioning him as a unifying force within the NRM and beyond.
From the heart of Lira and Kwania, the call is loud and clear: Uganda needs leaders who deliver—and Hon. Calvin Echodu is ready to lead that charge.
