Namukobe Ritah lifts Budadiri Girls SS UACE flag high

SIRONKO: The fraternity of Budadiri Girls SS in Sironko district is celebrating victory having performed well in the just released UACE examination results for 2025.
Namukobe Ritah is the overall best UACE candidate having scored 17 points majoring in LDG/ICT general paper 5, CRE B, Literature B, ICT 5 and Geography B respectively.
The school registered a total of 21 candidates whose good collective performance was greeted with celebrations from the school stakeholders.
Both Mawewe Metchitrude 3rd position DFL/ICT and Namataka Sharon DEG/ICT 4th position respectively scored 10 points as Wabuyaga Evaline got 9 points MEG/ICT
Five students scored 8 points,9 scored 7 points and 3 scored 6 points respectively
The school headmistress is Margaret Katushabe during an exclusive interview over the weekend attributed the good performance to hard work, unity and prayers which effectively enabled the candidates to lift their school academic flag high.
She thanked all the stakeholders both the board and parents for the close collaboration with her teaching staff which enabled them return these good results.
Katushabe appealed to the parents within the region of Bugisu, Teso, Sebei and Bukedi to entrust them with students because the school has the necessary infrastructure capable of enabling them deliver a high quality all round education pcakge to the learners.
Our school has been blessed with timely opportunities as the minister of education and sports Hon Janet Kataha Museveni has personally intervened in their request for support towards infrastructure development as well as the speaker of parliament Rt. Hon Annet Anita Among whose support has effectively impacted the current positive student performance trends.
Sister Katusabe also congratulated Mukwana Mercy having emerged as best candidate at the UCE examinations 2025 having scored 1A, 4Bs, 5Cs respectively while the general performance stood at 23 A 1. 18Bs, 132Cs and 65D respectively.
The others included Neumbe Joan who got 4Bs, 6Cs as Namutosi Patricia scored 2Bs and 7Cs respectively while best done subjects are science with leader Physics, [2] Chemistry.[3] Maths while arts best is geography, history and English.
The school based in Sironko district the just been offered 350 senior 1 slots with majority coming from the nearby surrounding districts which development signifies the growing confidence instilled upon them by the communities.
She appealed to parents to send them more girls given that the school has become a beacon of high quality education within the Bugisu region.
