Ryosuke Kinoshita, Guntaek Koh and Yuto Katsuragawa have qualified for The 152nd Open at Royal Troon through The Gateway to The Open Mizuno Open.

The Gateway to The Open Mizuno Open was the fifth event in the Open Qualifying Series and was played at JFE Setonaikai.

Kinoshita won the Japan Golf Tour event on a 12-under-par total of 276 after holding a share of the lead since shooting a 66 in the second round.

The 32-year-old made the cut in The Open in 2021 at Royal St George’s. 

Thanks to his runner-up finish, Koh will make his major championship debut at Royal Troon this summer.

Katsuragawa, who made the cut at The 150th Open, claimed the final qualifying place courtesy of his higher position in the Official World Golf Rankings after finishing in a tie for third place alongside two other players.

The next event in the Open Qualifying Series is the RBC Canadian Open, taking place at Hamilton Golf & Country Club in Toronto from 30 May – 2 June.

The 152nd Open will be played at Royal Troon from 18-21 July 2024.
