Key witness in Pr. Kayanja’s sodomy case Ssentongo reveals how he survived plot to kill his friends 

Pastor Robert Kayanja of the Miracle Center Cathedral involved in a legal battle at the Mwanga II Court in Mengo, is testifying against nine of his former workers.

In the case that he alleges that these individuals conspired to tarnish his name by falsely accusing him of sodomy, with ties to rival pastors, is also requesting that the court issue severe penalties to the ongoing blackmail he claims to have suffered.

Witnesses were arranged before court on Thursday 9th July 2026. 

However during a cross examination one of the key witness, one of them Reagan Ssentongo, revealed that while they were employed at church in the security department, there is no way he could be accused of trespass as alleged.

“We have been workers with Pastor Kayanja for all the time; I can’t tell how a worker can trespass. We were trained and given guns to start work” he said  

In the court hearings that have featured cross-examinations and the review of the suspects submitted documents, Regan said that he want Pr. Kayanja to face the case alone without attaching it other Pastors adding that he has proof of the actions he did to workers including himself before he was arrested.

He said that the Oastor wanted tried to use him to kill his friends in the case.

“He use me to attaché other pastors, I was threatened. I found out that I was no longer safe. Let court defend us we are not guilty but its him who should face court for all that he did to us. He used me to kill my friends” he said

Reagan denied any association with any other Pastor including Pastor Kiganda, Pr. Bugingo, Pastor Senyonga and Pastor Male.

The cross examination was conducted by State Attorney Jonathan Mwgani who reviewed documents by document as they were submitted right from the police statement, court judgments, medical reports among others.

Reagan asked court to intensify the investigation i to the Church which he said is involved in sodomy activities. 

This is not the first time Kayanja has been associated with sodomy allegations since 2009, similar accusations were raised and In 2010, rival pastors Solomon Male, Martin Ssempa, and others faced legal action for allegedly conspiring to defame Kayanja over the same claims.
