Karisa, Watambala return as Vipers aim to bounce back

After faltering in their last outing against SC Villa, Vipers want to immediately bounce back with a home game against debutants Lugazi at Kitende.

The hosts welcome Milton Karisa from a long-term injury and Karim Watambala who missed the defeat at Villa due to accumulation of bookings.

Karisa last played towards the end of the first round and his return is timely as the Venoms want to re-establish a five-point gap between them and NEC who are not in action until the following day away to UPDF in Bombo.

Lugazi come into the game on the back of disappointing defeats to Maroons and Villa in the Uganda Cup but will draw inspiration from their performances against some of the big boys.

The Leaders beat Express away, BUL at home and held big boys KCCA and even Vipers, a result they want to build on.

The visitors are 11^th on the log with 26 points while the hosts are leaders with 49 points coming into this game.
