Saturday night was action-packed with several top events happening at different venues nationwide. In Kampala, the nightlife was as alive as ever, with several concerts happening.

Gravity Omutujju’s concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval stole the headlines and not for pleasant reasons. Critics have already labeled it one of the biggest flopped concerts this year so far.

From a low reveler turn up to terrible sound and organization, the Embaga ya Isma n’Amina concert did not meet the local rapper’s expectations but he maintains that it will not deter him from continuing with his career.

Just across, at the Zoe Grounds, Lugogo, Nigerian singer Qing Madi serenaded a youthful crowd with her bangers including American Love, Visions, Ole, and Dalilah II among others.

The turn up there was good and revelers had a good time.

In Munyonyo, Bobi Wine’s younger brother Mikie Wine held a successful concert at Jahazi Pier. By 9 pm, the gates had been closed due to a massive turn-up of revelers.

The concert was also reportedly cut shorter by authorities to manage the crowds that had gone beyond what had been expected.

Mikie Wine thanked his fans for not disappointing him and fellow artists for having supported him all the way.

Congolese music legend Awilo Logomba and Nigerian singer Chike also performed on the same stage at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala Gardens.
