Bukandula College School in Gomba district will host the different schools in the Mpigi zone of the 2024 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) football qualifiers.

This championship will kick off on Wednesday, 3rd April and climax on the Sunday 7th April 2024.

Mpigi zone has schools from the districts of Mubende, Kassanda, Mityana, Butambala, Mpigi and Gomba.

Royal Giant High School, the newly crowned Mityana district victors and Mpigi zone reigning champion is pooled in group A alongside Kyanja High, Hill Side Kifampa and Happy Land Secondary School.

Hosts Bukandula College is in group H; alongside Mpigi Mixed, Butologo Seed and Kibibi Secondary School.

Bukandula Mixed Secondary School were drawn in group C with Mitala Maria Secondary School, Mubende Light Secondary School and 2024 Butambala district champions Bulo Parents.

In arguably the group of death (pool B), giants Gombe Secondary School, Mityana’s dark horses St Francis Busunju, Blessed Hope SS Bulamu and Kakungube SS were pooled together.

The other group to watch will be F that has Kisozi Seed, Mt Zion, Hope S.S Nakirebe and Victory SS Kassanda.

Three top schools will qualify for the 2024 USSSA nationals in Masaka city.
