Gospel singer Gabie Ntaate has quickly put to rest rumours surrounding her apparent pregnancy.
Speculation began circulating after leaked photos surfaced showing Gabie appearing to be heavily pregnant. 
However, the artist quickly took to social media to clarify the situation, explaining that her physical appearance is not due to pregnancy but rather a medical condition.
In a post, Gabie revealed that she has been battling thyroid disease, a condition that can cause changes in the body, including weight gain or loss, as well as other serious symptoms.
I’m not pregnant, and it is okay to be. Kids are beautiful. I have Thyroid disease. When you have walked a mile in that illness and survived it, or if you have seen a relative fight for their life with it, between a bulging body or a shrinking one, heart disease, hyper and hypotension, tremors, breathlessness, and worse, then get back into my womb. For now, stay out of my womb!
She also took the opportunity to remind the public not to spread misinformation, highlighting the importance of empathy for people fighting silent battles.
If you don’t know something for sure, don’t talk about it. People have silent battles under brave faces.
In a final note of hope and faith, Gabie reminded her followers, “Let’s not forget, JESUS IS A HEALER. Praying for everyone with a battle they tell no one about.”
