Former UPDF FC Duo Joins Ntugasaze

Ambitious FUFA Big League side Ntugasaze FC have completed the signing of striker Jibril Nsimbe Badru and Swalik Segujja, the SportsNation can reliably confirm.

Nsimbe and Segujja, who both formerly played for UPDF will reunite at the Mityana-based club ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The pair arrives at the club with top division experience, that the Brewers seek to utilise in their persuit of top flight football.

Segujja, previously at Mbarara City and UPDF had an unsuccessful transfer to Mbale Heroes back in January, before making up his mind to join the Brewers.

Nsimbe, who also formerly played for Masaka SS and Masaka City as well as Masaza Cup giants Ssingo and Buddu returns to Uganda after spending the whole of last season with Bugesera in the Rwanda Premier League.

The club has so far signed over ten new players ahead of the new season in which they have big plans to qualify to the Uganda Premier League (UPL).
The Brewers’ new signings include goalkeeper Richard Afwooyo, defenders; Norman Ndyamuhaki, Francis Ageno Phillips and Douglas Oyirwoth, midfielders; Salim Huud, Abdullah Kawanguzi, wingers; Shafik Magogo, Sabir Yassintah and Solomon Okello plus striker Henry Kayondo.
