Flavia Tumusiime appointed as new Head of Broadcast at Nation Media Group Uganda
Flavia Tumusiime has been appointed as the new Head of Broadcast at Nation Media Group (NMG) Uganda, according to reports.
Her appointment marks the return to mainstream media after a break during which she focused on private errands.
Tumusiime takes over from Johnson Omollo, who departed from the role earlier this year. She follows in the footsteps of Agnes Konde, who served in the same position from 2013 to 2017.
In her new role, Tumusiime will oversee the operations of NMG Uganda’s key broadcast brands: NTV Uganda, Spark TV, Dembe FM, and KFM.
Flavia is no stranger to NMG, having previously worked as a news anchor at NTV Uganda.
She joined the station from Capital FM, where she also built a strong following. Her journey in media began as a presenter on the popular Teens Club show on WBS TV.
