Female coach Bulega joins Kayinda to steer Butambala Ssaza technical docket

The management committee for Butambala Ssaza confirmed the entire technical department for the team ahead of the forthcoming 2024 Buganda Masaza football tournament.

Mustafah Kayinda is the head coach and will be assisted by Faridah Bulega, one of the few female coaches handling male teams.

Kayinda is the head coach of Singida Fountain Gate U-20 in Tanzania. He is also the assistant coach for Fountain Gate Princess in the Tanzania premier league.

Bulega is head coach of Prime View Soccer Club in Tororo and also the assistant at Musu clan football club.

She comes forth with a wealth of experience having also worked with the national female team; Crested Cranes, Kampala Queens women football club among others.

The goalkeeping coach is Sowed Kawoya who also works at Rubaga Martyrs and Shama football club.

Ronald “Jajja” Nkonge, an active player with Shekukune football club in South Africa is the fitness coach and will work alongside Nasser Lubwama.

The trainer coach is Hood Mayanja, who also is an active player with Groupe Bezano in Congo.

Others are Sharif Ssenyange (equipment), Ibrahim Kibalama (analyst), Thomas Orone (doctor), Francis Kiryowa (technical) and Fauzi Butaala Mucholi (assistant technical).

The 2024 Masaza football cup tournament will commence in late June.

Butambala Ssaza has never won any trophy in the Buganda Masaza football competition.
