Kyenjojo, Uganda — The Deputy Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Kyenjojo, Allan Bamuha, has called upon both technical officials and newly sworn-in political leaders of Bugaaki Sub-county to prioritize efficient service delivery in line with the guidance of President Yoweri Museveni.

Speaking during a meeting with the sub-county leadership, Bamuha reiterated the President's call for improved delivery of essential public services, particularly in healthcare, education, security, roads, water supply, agricultural extension services, social welfare, and government wealth-creation initiatives such as the Parish Development Model (PDM) and Emyooga.

The meeting brought together technical staff and political leaders, who collectively pledged to strengthen efforts aimed at ensuring timely and effective service delivery to the community. Participants committed themselves to promoting accountability and transparency in the utilization of public resources, responding promptly to citizens' concerns, and maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in public service.

Bamuha emphasized the need for continuous monitoring and evaluation of government programmes and projects to ensure that intended beneficiaries receive quality services and that public investments achieve their intended impact.

The leaders also highlighted the importance of community mobilization and civic engagement, noting that active citizen participation is essential for the successful implementation of government programmes. They further pledged to enhance oversight of service delivery, effectively represent the interests of residents, and promote accountability at all levels of leadership.

According to the leaders, these renewed commitments are expected to improve the quality of life of the people of Bugaaki, stimulate economic growth and development, strengthen public confidence in government institutions, reduce poverty and inequality, and promote good governance and social stability across the sub-county.

The meeting marks a renewed drive by local leaders to align service delivery efforts with national development priorities and ensure that government programmes translate into tangible benefits for the people.
