CEC nominee King Ceasor Agustus unveiled plans to support SACCOs across Uganda.

Businessman King Ceasor Augustus Mulenga, the Central Executive nominee, has announced his plan to support all Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations (SACCOs) across Uganda by giving each of them 100 million shillings.
Speaking during an interview, King Ceasor explained that this initiative is based on his interactions with entrepreneurs from all 18 NRM subregions.
“I will create six entrepreneurs' cash development banks (SACCOS) for the six regions. Upon launch, each SACCO will receive 100 million. My target is 1 billion Uganda shillings within a year for each SACCO,” he said
During a recent campaign journey to Palisa, he said, “Leadership is not about titles; it’s about service. I have listened, I have learned, and I am ready to act. Let’s build a future where every entrepreneur thrives.”
The National Chairman, National Resistance Movement (NRM), President Yoweri Museveni, announced 27 to 28 August as the dates for the party’s 4th National Conference to convene thousands of delegates at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds to elect new members of the Central Executive Committee (CEC), which according to NRM constitution is the the highest decision-making organ of the party.
The NRM Electoral Commission Boss, Dr. Tanga Odoi, said that more than 24,000 delegates are expected to vote for CEC members by secret ballot.
The competition for the position of Entrepreneurs League Chairperson includes top businessmen, such as King Ceasor Augustus Mulenga, proprietor of King Ceasor University, and Mr. Hassan Basajjabalaba, owner of Kampala International University. Other aspirants include Shukla Mukesh, Sanjy Tanna, and Gyaviira Ssemwanga, among others.
On Friday 4th July, King Ceaser was nominated to contest for the top CEC position over seed by the EC Boos Dr. Tang Odoi.
