Business Excellence Awards 2025 celebrate top companies for customer satisfaction.

Consumer Publications Uganda Limited on 1st August 2025 honored outstanding companies at the annual Business Excellence Awards 2025 (BEAwards), which, according to the Chief Operations Manager, Alowo Agnes, says this year’s awards focused on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction among others, which brands in the eyes of the consumers proved excellent.
The Business Excellence Award celebrates companies that continue to raise the bar for their products and services, where the finalists demonstrate strong brand loyalty based on the consumers' tastes and preferences.
During the award night held at the Sheraton Hotel, the Minister of State for Privatization, Hon. Evelyn Anite, who was the Chief guest, received the Excellence in Investment Leadership Award
It was announced that “Her leadership continues to drive Uganda’s private sector growth and regional impact. A testament to her role in driving Uganda’s private sector growth & regional influence”
Minister Evelyn Anite applauded Uganda’s private sector, commending them for satisfying the customer locally and internationally with their quality and affordable products.
“Congratulations to our investors who made it to the business excellence award-winning list recognized by consumers. Like they say, a customer, the king, thank you for satisfying the Ugandan customer with your good quality yet affordable products” she said
The Minister said that, “Over 1.2M are employed by the private sector, more than 300 million people in East Africa enjoy our products. Congrats to Movit, Sumz, Bella Wine & all winners driving growth & resilience. The President celebrates Uganda’s strong Return on Investment”
She added that “When I was first appointed as the Minister of Investment in 20216, President Museveni said Uganda was a supermarket of the world's products. Now the story has changed we are one of the leading exporters of goods & services to the world's supermarkets. congratulations to our investors.”

The Chief Operations Manager, Alowo Agnes in an interview on the sidelines of the Business Excellence Award 2025, said that the awards recognize innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, bringing together business leaders to celebrate business excellence.
She explained that “Usually we begin with the launch, and before the launch we have market research with a company that does the market survey, and the report is shared.
After that, we launch and we put the companies there for consumers to vote. The public vote for their best brands; usually, they depend on quality, it means if you are nominated, the company has consumed your product and tested. That company then qualifies to be nominated to participate in the business excellence awards.”
Over 80 companies made it to the awards list, including: Best Dental Treatment and Oral Health Solution taken by Pan Dental Surgery for Platnum, Cureosity Healthcare center for Gold, Best manufacturer of TMX Bar in Ugnada bagged by Tembo Steel Limited, Best manufacturer of plastics tanks and PVC products won by Crestank Limited as Platinum wnner, Best Restaurant Barand Lounge taken by Molecule Restaurant at Platnum level with Olives Bar at Gold, Movit Products Platinum Winner at the 2025 Business Excellence Awards, in the category of Best Manufacturer of Personal Care, Body, and Hair Care Products in Uganda, K-Roma Ltd, producers of Bella Wine, Sumz Uganda Limited, Crestanks, Tembo Steel Ltd, Simba Automobiles, Azam Baking powder, G4S security Company, Tyre Express
