Events promoter Alfonso Andrew Mukasa, popularly known as Bajjo Events, grabbed news headlines when a video clip of him went viral revealing how he had returned to school after a 15-year break.

The clip showed Bajjo attending a lecture for the first time at Makerere University Business School (MUBS).

The clip elicited mixed reviews among his followers with some calling it a stunt.

His fellow events promoter and businessman who was appointed as the Minister of Gender and Labor for Youth and Children Affairs, Hon. Balaam Barugahara congratulated him on enrolling for higher education.

He also advised Bajjo to study in silence to avoid public embarrassment if he fails.

He added that studying in silence will help his fellow students get the necessary privacy that they need to fully focus on their studies.

During his address, Balaam noted that Bajjo returned to school because he wants to contest for the Kampala Lord Mayoral seat in the coming general election.

Balaam is optimistic that if Bajjo acquires the necessary academic documents and gets voted as the Kampala Lord Mayor, he will help solve the problems affecting Kampala and its surrounding suburbs
