Andrew Kyamagero advises young couples on the importance of serious dating

Andrew Kyamagero has shared advice for young couples, urging them to invest time in truly understanding each other before committing to marriage.
Kyamagero recommends a period of at least six months of serious dating, noting that this timeframe is enough for pretenses to fade and for one to see a partner’s true character.
In that time, pretense is over and that’s when you can tell the other person might not be who you want. Find out how far they can go when angry. It’s absurd that this generation has good access to information but it’s the most sad.
He further noted that many people in the current generation project happiness on social media but secretly battle inner struggles and depression because of a lack of transparency.
Kyamagero also urged elders to play a constructive role in guiding the youth rather than harshly criticizing them.
They don’t listen. I urge elders to do positive criticism to this new generation and not look like they are blaming them.
