James claims that his relationship with his wife took a dark turn after he suffered a crippling accident. Since then, he says his wife began to physically abuse him and invite different men into their shared home. Following the accident, James was left confined to a wheelchair and felt powerless. He says his wife took advantage of his condition, knowing he could not defend himself.
