A True Leader!! Hon. Mukasa Touches Hearts of Orphaned Children

In a moving act of kindness, Hon. Joseph Mukasa recently visited Barbie Children Foundation, a well-known orphanage in Uganda. His visit was not only a show of generosity but also a message of hope and love for the children and the caregivers who work tirelessly to care for them.
The orphanage, home to many vulnerable and orphaned children, was filled with excitement as Hon. Mukasa arrived. The children, overjoyed to see him, greeted him with songs, smiles, and warmth. His presence brought both comfort and encouragement to everyone at the home.
During his visit, Hon. Mukasa made a generous donation to support the children’s daily needs, including food and other essentials. However, his greatest gift was the time he spent with the children—listening to them, sharing uplifting words, and giving them hope for a brighter future.
He spoke passionately about the importance of giving every child an equal opportunity to succeed, no matter their background. “These children are not a burden,” he said. “They are the future of Uganda, and we must all come together to protect and support them.”
Although the orphanage is outside his home constituency of Makindye-Sabagabo, Hon. Mukasa’s visit demonstrates that his leadership goes far beyond local borders. For over 20 years, he has been deeply involved in improving lives—empowering youth, supporting women, and standing with the vulnerable across Uganda.
The caregivers at Barbie Children Foundation were deeply touched by his humility and kindness. One staff member said, “We’ve had visitors before, but few come with such sincerity and care. Hon. Mukasa is more than a politician—he is a true father to these children.”
As the 2026 elections approach, the people of Uganda are taking note of leaders who act rather than just talk. Hon. Mukasa’s visit shows that real leadership is about service, compassion, and genuine connection with the people.
His guiding message remains powerful and clear:
“People First. Service. Equity. Transformation.”
Hon. Joseph Mukasa continues to prove that leadership is not about power but about touching lives. If Uganda wants leaders who care, listen, and act, he has already shown the way.
The journey to a better future begins with leaders who put people first—and Hon. Mukasa is leading that path.
