The Galaxy S23 Ultra has a major camera zoom bug thanks to One UI 6.1.1 (Update: On hold)
Samsung's One UI 6.1.1 software has the proverbial nasty surprise.
- The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has a significant camera zoom bug after the One UI 6.1.1 update.
- Images taken between 16x and 19.9x see significant ghosting as a result of this bug.
- Samsung is working on a fix but a temporary workaround is available by adjusting the intelligent optimization feature.
Update, September 18, 2024 (11:13 AM ET): According to a new report from SamMobile, Samsung has halted distribution of its One UI 6.1.1 update to the Galaxy S23 Ultra in response to these camera issues. Availability appears to continue unchanged for other members of the S23 family.
