Ssemugabi guides Kitara past Police

Jude Ssemugabi scored the lone goal as Kitara FC returned to winning ways in the League on Thursday away to Police FC.
Fresh from the Uganda Cranes, the lanky forward scored the solitary goal as Kitara FC edged Police FC 1-0 at Kavumba Recreation Ground.
Ssemugabi was at the end of a well taken free kick by Solomon Okwalinga and the former headed the ball past goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga.
Okwalinga had replaced David Ndihabwe in the 52nd minute and he made impact two minutes later with Ssemugabi perfectly nodding home his delivery from a free kick.
The result lifts Kitara FC up to 4th place on 32 points from 21 games while Police FC on the other hand stay in 12th position on 23 points.
Police FC will return to action on Thursday next week against Soltilo Bright Stars FC in the Kavumba derby while Kitara FC will host KCCA FC in Hoima.
