The news shared early today morning revealed that Skills On Da Beat passed on at Kiruddu Hospital after a long battle with drugs, something he publicly opened up about in 2023.

“I started smoking marijuana so that I could hype up my vibe. I started losing focus on my dreams in the industry. I could barely be in the studio to work,” Skills On Da Beat noted.

It was also alleged that he had run mad with reports that emerged claiming that he was being dragged to rehab to heal from using drugs.

Skills On Da Beat is known for producing Voltage Music’s songs including “Love Doctor”, “Cheza Mama”, and “Pull Up”, Fille Mutoni’s “Katijo”, and a couple of Winnie Nwagi’s songs.

May his soul rest in peace!
