She Corporate earned a hard-fought 2-1 victory over She Maroons in the FUFA Women Super League at Bugembe Stadium in Jinja on Sunday.

Goals from Bernardet Namwenge and Barbra Adweru sealed the win for the hosts, while Immaculate Kizza scored the lone goal for the visitors.

The win ended a rough patch for She Corporates, who had suffered three consecutive defeats heading into the match.

Namwenge opened the scoring in the 26th minute with a composed finish, giving She Corporates an early advantage.

Shortly after the break, Kizza equalized for She Maroons, restoring parity and breathing life into the visitors’ hopes.

However, in the 73rd minute, Adweru netted what proved to be the winner, putting She Corporates back in front.

Despite late pressure from She Maroons, the hosts held firm to secure all three points.

The victory lifts She Corporate to ninth place on the table with 18 points, while She Maroons sit in seventh with 19 points.
