Curvaceous singer Shakira Kamulegeya Kyebalaba, widely known as Shakiraa Shakira rubbishes rumors that noted how she had fallen out with her father over her overly skimpy dress code.
While performing, and in her music videos, Shakiraa Shakira often exposes too much of her skin, something that critics have severally pointed out.
In her defense, she maintains that as an artist, she has an image she yearns to portray and that she only dresses up like that for the occasion.
In recent times, there have been rumors alleging that she even fell out with her father over the same matter. She, however, denies the allegations.

While speaking to Sanyuka TV, Shakiraa Shakira noted that she is on good terms with her dad and that her parents are very proud of her.
That’s not true, my dad can never get rid of me. He just bought me a new phone. I am his best child. My parents are very proud of me. I am not explicit really. I dress according to the occasion. I was at the mosque in the morning and I wasn’t dressed like this but now I am on the stage, so I dress up for it differently. Shakiraa Shakira
