Rapper Fik Fameica responds to critics, defends concert profitability

Rapper Shafik Walukaaga alias Fik Fameica has said his concerts are not money motivated in response to claims from some entertainment critics that he didn’t receive a big turnout of revelers.
Drawing from another rapper, Mun G’s previous concert at Kampala Serena Hotel, where he said that although the show was successful in terms of turnup, he didn’t profit from it financially, Fik Fameica said that he did earn from his profitably.
However, Fameica said that the major motive of organizing concerts for him is not to get money but rather to invest in the brand.
Therefore as long as what he invested is recuperated, he doesn’t mind much about the profits.
First and foremost I want to thank fans for the massive turnup. The show was really a success for me and I did earn from it profitably although my aim organizing concerts is not financially motivated. It’s all about investing in the brand and once you recover what you invested, then you’re good to go.
Additionally, the singer also addressed the scene at the Oval where the band left stage while he was still performing. Fik Fameica said that this was an embarrassment and an unprofessional act from the band.
He went ahead to say that he investigated and found that the band was still demanding some payment and they were caught up by time. However, he blamed this act from them saying that the issue of payment could have been handled later.
The rapper also said that the reason he turned up on stage late was because fans turned up late. Besides, there were many acts who had to be given ample stage performance.
