Table leaders Police (53 points) need a point from their away duel against Kataka at the Mbale city stadium to be declared champions.
“We have prepared well for the game and need to finish as champions. There are two options to achieve this, a win or a draw. It has been a tough season but we need to finish strongly” Simon Peter Mugerwa, Police’s head coach remarked.
Second placed Lugazi (50 points) visit already relegated Jinja North United at the Kyabazinga stadium in Bugembe, JInja city.
Lugazi needs a victory with hope that Police falls to Kataka to clinch the championship on a better head-to-head rule.
Another already promoted club, Mbale Heroes play Kiyinda Boys at the Bertham city stadium.
Elsewhere, Kigezi Home Boyz will entertain Booma at the Kabale Municipal Stadium, Onduparaka will host Calvary in Arua city at the Greenlight Stadium whilst Kyetume will lockhorns against Blacks Power at their Nakisunga ssaza fortress.
Kyetume, Jinja North United, Young Elephants and Ndejje University will be relegated to the respective regional leagues.
