JKL extended their semifinal series lead after humbling JT Lady Jaguars in a 71-47 victory in the National Basketball League on Sunday at Lugogo Indoor Arena.
The well-deserved victory puts the JKL Lady Dolphins in a comfortable place that a win in game three will confirm their spot in the final.
JKL Lady Dolphins swum into a lead of seven points (15-08) at the end of the first electric quarter.
The reigning champions kept ascending as they extended their lead to 12 points (31-19) before the long break.
Coming from the locker rooms, JT Jaguars improved their rhythm and plays, setting up Brenda Kayaga for a long shot. At the end of the third quarter, Jaguars trailed by 16 points.
Lady Dolphins kept their foot on the gas pedal to seal a 24-point victory on the day.
Becky Longom staged a thrilling show with a double-double as he scored 10 points and pulled down 11 points.
Jane Asinde (17 points) and Ekone Brenda (15 points) added onto the Dolphins scoreboard in double digits.
On the other hand, only Sarah Ageno (15 points) scored double digits while Mercy Batamuliza pulled down a huge 18 rebounds.
