Makerere University WFC secured a well-deserved 6-1 victory against Wakiso Hill WFC in the FUFA Women Super League at St Gerald Stadium, Rubaga on Sunday.

It was a thrilling performance that saw Zainah Namuleme score four goals on the door.

Namuleme placed the hosts ahead in the first minute with a simple finish but Resty Margie levelled matters for visitors in the 4th minute.

Makerere regained the lead in the 10th minute after Namuleme found the back of the net after guiding Halimah Kasuubo who was steps off the line.

Namuleme extended Makerere’ lead after converting from a 12-yard mark thanks to a handball in the dangerous area.

The skipper made it four for the hosts with a thrilling long-range strike that left the crowd amazed in full voice.

Rashid Nankya and Rebecca Nakasaate scored the fifth and sixth respectively to seal off the well-deserved win.

Makerere move to the sixth position with 22 points while Wakiso Hill sit at the bottom of the log with only five points.
