The Prime Minister of Buganda, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga has lashed out at a section of individuals who talk ill of the Kingdom without facts saying they are paid to taint the image of the chiefdom.
He made the claims following the statements that have been flying online in recent weeks by a section of people demanding to know Kabaka Ronald Mwenda Mutebi II’s whereabouts and health condition.
While addressing journalists, Katikkiro revealed that issues regarding Kabaka’s health status are not like a marital function that everyone should know about maintaining that his privacy is always a must.

He further noted that the Kabaka was scheduled to return on the 21st adding that even if he needed more time to prolong his stay, it wouldn’t have been a problem.
The Kabaka was set to return on the 21st, as planned by both us and the doctors. He had 90 days in Namibia, and if we needed to extend his stay, it wouldn’t have been a problem.
