Fik Gaza released from prison again after second arrest
Dancehall artist Fik Gaza has been released from prison once again following a dramatic week marked by arrests, bail, and renewed legal troubles.
Gaza was initially arrested earlier this month alongside some associates on charges of robbery in the Katwe area. He was remanded to prison but later granted cash bail of UGX 1 million, while his sureties were bonded at a non-cash bail of UGX 10 million.
However, to the surprise of many, Fik Gaza was immediately re-arrested moments after his release.
Security operatives claimed he had another pending case related to a separate robbery incident that had also occurred in Wakiso.
After spending several more days in custody, Fik Gaza was finally released again yesterday. It remains unclear whether the charges were officially dropped or if further legal proceedings are expected.
Following his release, he was spotted linking up with Alien Skin, who is currently recovering from injuries sustained during a mob attack in Iganga.
