Ugandan singer Elijah Kitaka graced the stage at Replay NBO for his highly anticipated first solo performance in Nairobi, on Saturday night, marking a significant milestone in his musical journey.
The event was a resounding success, with tickets selling out in advance, and a spirited crowd of Kenyan music lovers filling the venue to capacity by 7:00 PM EAT.
Elijah Kitaka, who had previously showcased his talent as a drummer in Nairobi, returned to the city with an electrifying performance alongside his personal band, Double Black, from Swangz Avenue.
The atmosphere in the venue was vibrant and charged with excitement as fans eagerly gathered to witness Kitaka’s dynamic stage presence and captivating sound.
The performance started at exactly 9:00pm with an electrifying opening jam session by Double Black to warm up the revealers.
Elijah then stepped on the stage and took the audience on a musical journey, seamlessly weaving through his hit songs like Touch & Continue, Nothing, Dawa, Ekyange and more showcasing his versatility as an artist.
The crowd responded with enthusiasm, singing along and dancing to every beat. Their energy was palpable, creating an intimate and engaging atmosphere that made the night truly special.
Despite the show officially concluding, fans were left clamoring for more, illustrating the deep connection Kitaka has fostered with his audience.
Building up to the show, Elijah Kitaka had a seamless media tour where he interacted with fans, media personalities and industry players appearing on various TV and Radio Stations like Sound City, NTV, NFM, TV 47, Citizen TV, Home Boyz Radio & Jambi Radio Kenya
