A new research from ICS an online training provider based in London has shown that the value attached to The Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) qualified candidates have been embraced by most employers to pursue their Human Resource careers.
The research compiled by examining 600 open job adverts seeking human resource professionals in entry-, mid-, and senior-level roles categories offered a comparative analysis of the need for CIPD qualifications at different experience levels found out that 77.5% prefer CIPD qualification.

During a Virtual CIPD Open Day held on 12th March 2021 and organized by Human Resource Managers Association of Uganda (HRMAU), moderated by Shamim Walusimbi, Director Public Relations, the facilitator Danny Smith from Avado explained that CIPD qualification enables Human Resource candidates to experience an exclusive access to the latest thinking from experts from CIPD experts, which he said will be delivered online.

He added that while learning the units of study will be broken into plans, set of activities and an assessment provided at the final stages to ensure specialist knowledge in the HR practice and development.
“Each unit is broken down into weekly plans, with a set of activities for you to work through and will take between 6-15 to weeks to complete. In the final week of each unit, you’ll apply everything you’ve learnt through an assessment” he added
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) is the main professional body in charge of accrediting and awarding internationally recognised professional human resources (HR) qualifications. The training is offered through Human Resource managers Association of Uganda.
