Cheated but Not Defeated!! Ogwari Polycarp Returns to Fight For The People Of Agule

After a primary election marred by widespread cheating and serious irregularities, Hon. Ogwari Polycarp has officially announced he will contest as an Independent Candidate in the upcoming race for Agule constituency.
His decision follows growing public outcry over the conduct of the NRM primaries, which many residents say were rigged. Voters report cases of ballot stuffing, ghost names on voter rolls, and even children being allowed to vote. In some areas, vote counts tripled the number of registered voters—evidence, locals argue, of a deeply flawed process.
Despite the setbacks, Ogwari has chosen not to bow out. Instead, he’s responding to what he calls “the people’s cry for justice.” His campaign will now continue, not under the NRM banner, but as an independent voice for the people of Agule.
“My mission has never been about political labels—it has always been about service,” Ogwari said in his statement. “Our people face real challenges: broken roads, unsafe water, joblessness, and poor healthcare. I cannot remain silent while their voices are ignored through electoral fraud.”
By running independently, Ogwari says he is free to represent everyone in Agule—regardless of political affiliation. His focus, he adds, remains on unity, education, youth empowerment, and equitable development for every community.
The announcement has been met with strong support from locals, many of whom believe Ogwari was the true winner of the primaries. They describe him as a leader who listens, walks with the people, and understands their struggles. “We’re with him,” said one community elder. “He speaks for us. We’ll vote for him again until the truth comes out.”
As his independent campaign gains momentum, Hon. Ogwari is calling on residents to stay strong, stay united, and stand for what’s right.
“The fight is not over,” he said. “This is no longer just about one election. It’s about truth, justice, and leadership that puts people first.”
The road ahead may be tough, but with the power of the people behind him, Ogwari’s journey is far from over.
