Zuena Kirema, wife to musician Bebe Cool, has advised on how she has maintained a strong and lasting marriage for over two decades.
Speaking during her birthday celebration with underprivileged children in Ndejje, Zuena mentioned the importance of giving a man peace in a relationship is the most important quality.
According to Zuena, one of the key reasons her marriage has remained intact is her approach to trust and personal space.
She advises women not to overwhelm their partners with excessive questioning, especially when they come home late.
I think women shouldn’t be all over the men, questioning them. Give the man peace, don’t ask him questions or be strict. When he returns home just say Alhamdulillah, serve him food, don’t be nosy checking his phone.
When you suffocate them, they get fed up, so let them be. That’s the secret behind the best marriage ever!
While Zuena acknowledges that this approach might not work for everyone, she believes it has been the factor in the longevity of her own marriage.
