SMASK, Buddo SS set for showdown in Wakiso Zone Final

St Mary’s Kitende (SMASK) will face off against Buddo SS in the final of the 2025 Wakiso Zone Football Championship on Tuesday at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.

Kitende booked their spot in the final after a narrow 1-0 victory over Standard High Zzana (STAHIZA), courtesy of a late strike from Santos Agok.

Buddo SS secured their place by defeating Greenlight in a well-contested semifinal.

Speaking to Kawowo Sports, Kitende’s head coach Hassan Zungu expressed his satisfaction with the team’s progress.

“I’m pleased with the improvement in the team. The players’ attitude has been positive, which is a big plus,” Zungu said.

“It’s a joy to work with such talented boys. Our goal remains to win, and I’m committed to giving my best to uphold the team’s legacy.”

In the other fixture, St Noa will meet Rines SS in a highly anticipated clash— a rematch of last year’s thrilling final.
