- Vipers SC vs UPDF – St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende 7pm
Vipers will be eager to close in on leaders when they host UPDF on Friday at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
The champions head into the game on the back of a morale boosting 2-0 win over bogey side URA last week and will hope to build on that.
Charles Livingstone Mbabazi who missed that game without the club revealing why is expected to return to the dugout for the clash against the army side that is languishing in relegation at the moment.
It also remains to be seen whether the technical staff will maintain same squad that started against the tax collectors with skipper Milton Karisa, Yunus Sentamu, Siraje Sentamu, Jack Komakech and Karim Watambala all starting on the bench.
UPDF, coached by Pius Ngabo and former Vipers assistant coach Paul Kiwanuka appear to have turned the tide around with two wins in a row now as they aim to beat the relegation monster.
With Kitara, NEC and SC Villa playing on Thursday, Vipers understand exactly what they have to go for against second from bottom UPDF.
