There were no goals to show at the two venues in the StarTimes Premier League on Tuesday as match day twenty-four got underway.
At Kavumba Recreation Ground, two relegation candidates Soltilo Bright Stars and Wakiso Giants wasted a good number opportunities which saw them cede ground in the relegation battle.
A point keeps them in their respective position with the Purple Sharks now on 19 points, just four adrift of safety position while the Stars are on 16 occupying 15th place on the 16-team log.
It was the same score line posted at Royal Park Butema where league debutants Lugazi frustrated hosts Kitara who are now winless in two matches after also lost to NEC at Lugogo in the previous outing.
The result leaves Wasswa Bbosa’s lads in 5th position with 36 points while Lugazi are 11th with 28 points, nine ahead of the team occupies the last relegation slot.
