From radio to TV: Haffy Powers’ journey to becoming a familiar face

Haffy Powers has become a recognisable face in the media industry, but her journey to the spotlight began long before the TV cameras started rolling.
Before stepping into broadcasting, Haffy made a name for herself as a host at Club Amnesia. She then caught the attention of Innocent, the club’s boss, who later went on to establish Galaxy FM.
When the station was launched, Haffy was among the first to apply, and it didn’t take long for her to secure a spot, thanks in part to the relationship she had built with Innocent.
My former boss used to engage with us a lot. Even the name Galaxy, we brainstormed it together. I was actually the first face of the station.
After gaining recognition in radio, Haffy transitioned into television, working first with BBS Terefayina before moving to her current role at Sanyuka TV.
