True Love Exists: How a Disabled Woman Found Happiness with a Handsome and Wealthy Man
My name is Miriam, and I come from Mbale District in Eastern Uganda. My life has been filled with challenges, but the greatest of them all has been living with a physical disability since childhood. I was born with a leg condition that made walking difficult. Growing up, I faced rejection, mockery, and deep emotional pain. People often looked at me with pity, and some laughed behind my back. Despite everything, I tried to live a normal life, holding on to the hope that one day I would find true love and happiness.
I was raised by a single mother who did everything possible to provide for me. I went to school, studied hard, and later learned tailoring so I could support myself. But life was never easy. Most men I met treated me as if I didn’t deserve love. Some would speak kindly at first, but once they discovered my disability, they would slowly disappear.
