Swangz Avenue is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated Roast And Rhyme Festival’s Nyam On The Nile edition scheduled to happen from 5th July to 7th July 2024 in Jinja.
Renowned for its unique blend of music, food, and socializing, Roast and Rhyme has become a staple in Uganda’s social calendar. Celebrated for its quality production, it always offers memorable experiences to its attendees.
This year, the Nyam On The Nile edition will start on Friday 5th July at Living Waters Resort, Jinja with the “Night Club in the Woods” experience which will feature top deejays.
On Saturday 6th July, revelers will participate in adventure, and entertainment with adrenaline-pumping activities such as bungee jumping, zip-lining, quad biking, horse riding, and a boat cruise on the majestic Nile all on the line.
At Across the Nile Resort, games, meat roasting, and live music performances by some of Uganda’s best performers and top DJs will cap the fun that evening.
Sundays are brunch days and on 7th July the weekend will conclude with an all-white Sunday service brunch at Living Waters Resort. Attendees are to enjoy free food, free cocktails, and live music performances set against the stunning backdrop of the Nile River.
The New Venues
This year’s #RoastAndRhyme Nyam On The Nile edition introduces two new venues located on the Njeru side of Nalubale Road. These venues offer scenic views and a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for the festival’s blend of music and adventure.
Living Waters Resort – Positioned approximately 1.5 km along Nalubale Road, this resort provides a beautiful riverside setting for the opening night and the Sunday brunch.
Across the Nile Resort – Situated about 1 km from the roundabout on Nalubale Road, this venue will host Saturday’s main event, offering ample space for games, meat roasting, and live performances.
