Mikie Wine, the younger brother of musician-turned-politician Bobi Wine, has scheduled his concert on the same date as fellow artist Gravity Omutujju.

Gravity Omutujju was the first to set the stage, announcing his concert “Embaga Ya Isma N’amina” via social media on Friday.

The event is slated to take place on September 7, 2024, at the Lugogo Cricket Oval. He shared a promotional poster, rallying his fans to mark their calendars.

Just two days later, Mikie Wine followed suit, revealing that his own concert, “Tusaabale ku Jahazi Pier Munyonyo,” would also be held on the same date.

Mikie Wine took to Facebook to share the news, posting, “It’s Time TUSAABALE ku Jahazi pier munyonyo. Mark the date. Sulubadaabaadabadaaaa.”

The overlapping concert dates did not go unnoticed by netizens. Many were quick to point out the scheduling conflict, with some speculating about the potential motives behind Mikie Wine’s decision.

Given the ongoing tension between Gravity Omutujju and Bobi Wine, some netizens believe Mikie Wine’s move might be a strategic response.

While some fans expressed curiosity and concern over the clash, the majority seemed to welcome the announcement.
