“The Lord Will Fight For You, you need only to be still." A Message of Hope from Tidori Ministries Uganda

At Tidori Ministries Uganda, we want to remind you of a powerful truth found in Exodus 14:14: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” These words were spoken to the people of Israel when they were trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea. They were afraid, confused, and ready to give up. But God, through Moses, told them not to panic — because He was going to fight on their behalf.

This message is still true for us today. Life can sometimes feel like a battle. Maybe you're fighting fear, struggling with financial problems, sickness, broken relationships, or disappointment. It can feel like the enemy is chasing you and there’s no way out. But God is still the same. He still fights for His people.

Being still doesn’t mean doing nothing. It means trusting God even when we don’t see a solution. It means refusing to be ruled by fear. It means keeping our eyes on God instead of the problem. When we do that, we allow God to step in and do what only He can do.

At Tidori Ministries, we’ve seen God come through for many people in powerful ways — healing the sick, providing jobs, restoring families, and opening doors that seemed permanently shut. And we believe He can do the same for you.
